Telehealth appointments are available for both new and established patients, and they are great for non-urgent care, such as evaluation of digestive symptoms, management of medications, and follow-up visits.
Our scheduling representatives will be happy to assist you. You can request a telehealth visit using our online appointment request form. Or simply call your local office and request a telehealth appointment with the doctor of your choice.
When you book the appointment, you will receive an email confirming your appointment date, time, and the provider’s name. On the day of your appointment, you’ll receive another email 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time with a link to complete a brief health questionnaire and then enter the virtual exam room within healow™ our telehealth and patient portal service provider. We recommend you access this appointment in a quiet, private space where you can have a confidential video chat session with your doctor.
To ensure you have a seamless experience:
- Provide your up-to-date email address to our staff at the time of scheduling
- Be sure you have activated your healow™ patient portal account so you can complete your brief health questionnaire on the day of your visit
- Make sure you are using a device with a webcam, microphone, and strong internet connection (e.g., a laptop, smartphone, or tablet)
- Patients have two options to join the appointment – a secure web link or through the healow™ app. While the latest version of any internet browser is accepted, we have found that the healow™ app provides the optimal experience for our patients.
For smart phone and tablet users, the healow™ app is a free download from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
