A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Dr. Singh received her bachelor’s degree in the biological basis of behavior with minors in healthcare management and South Asian studies. She completed her medical degree at the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she served as president of the American Medical Women’s Association’s local chapter and participated in multiple international medical mission trips. After completing her internship and residency in internal medicine at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago, Dr. Singh returned to the University of Florida where she completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology, and served as chief fellow.

While at the University of Illinois, Dr. Singh participated in the Department of Hepatology’s Clinical and Translational Pilot Grant and researched the role of a protein-based signaling pathway in the production
of liver cancer. During her fellowship, she also conducted research on the safety and efficacy of
endoscopic ultrasound diagnostic techniques for pancreatic lesions, as well as the use of stents for acute esophageal disease.

Dr. Singh has presented at various national conferences and her case presentation on gastric carcinoma was published in Medscape (formerly E-Medicine). She is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology, the American Gastroenterological Association, and the American Society of Gastroenterological Endoscopy.

In addition to general gastroenterology, Dr. Singh has a special interest in inflammatory bowel disease, motility disorders, and women’s digestive health issues. She is fluent in Hindi and conversational in Spanish. Dr. Singh joined the practice in 2012.
