Areas of Interest

Mandy earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing through the accelerated program at Indiana University and Purdue University in Indianapolis. She then earned a Master of Science in nursing from Walden University in Minneapolis, with a focus in adult and gerontological acute care.

Her nursing journey began at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where she served as a registered nurse, clinical advisor, and charge nurse in the cardiac medical critical care unit. She later transitioned to Beaufort Memorial Hospital in Beaufort, S.C., where she worked as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit before moving to the endoscopy department.

Following her tenure at Beaufort Memorial Hospital, Mandy joined Advent Health Medical Group in Zephyrhills, Fla., as a primary care and gastroenterology advanced practice registered nurse. Most recently, she served in a similar role at Hilton Head Gastroenterology in South Carolina.

Mandy holds certifications in basic and advanced cardiac life support and is board certified as an adult and gerontological acute care nurse practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She is an active member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS).

Mandy joined The Center for Digestive & Liver Health in 2024.
