Areas of Interest

Magen is a summa cum laude graduate of the University of South Alabama in Mobile, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in administrative science. While there, she was named to Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and served on the College Academic Standards Committee. She also received her Master of Science in physician assistant studies from Samford University in Birmingham, Ala., graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

Licensed in both Alabama and Georgia, Magen is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and also holds certifications in basic and advanced cardiac life support.

Magen previously served as a medical scribe for Scribe America in Mobile, Ala., and as a physician assistant at Wellstar Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in Marietta, Ga. She most recently served as a physician assistant at Aventa Specialized Women’s Care in Dothan, Ala.

Magen joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2024.
