Jessica holds an Associate of Science in nursing from the University of North Georgia in Gainesville, Ga., and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington. In addition, she went on to earn a Master of Science in nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

Before joining Gastroenterology Associates of Athens, she served as a registered nurse in the neurosciences unit at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Previously, Jessica also worked as a registered nurse in the emergency room/surgical trauma as well as pre/post-op surgery for Advanced Eye Care in Gainesville, Ga. Prior to her work as a nurse, Jessica was a pharmacy technician for eight years.

Jessica is board certified as a nurse practitioner in the area of Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, is a registered nurse (RN), and is certified in basic and advanced cardiac life support.

She joined Gastroenterology Associates of Athens in 2022.
