Areas of Interest

Dr. Brown is a cum laude graduate of Pace University in New York, N.Y., where he received both the Graduating Senior Scholastic Achievement Award and the Graduating Biology Service Achievement Award. He received his medical degree from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York and completed his internship and residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta.

Dr. Brown is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. During his medical training, he received the Hale House Service Achievement Award, the Outstanding Second Year Medical Student Award and the National Medical Fellowship Award. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the American Gastroenterological Association, the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the American College of Gastroenterology.

For the fifth consecutive year, he was named to Atlanta magazine's 'Top Doctors' guide in gastroenterology by Castle Connolly Medical, Ltd.

Dr. Brown joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates in 2004.
