McKenna is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia in Athens and holds Bachelor of Science degrees in both biology and psychology. During her undergraduate studies, she was selected as a participant in the University’s honors program and received the Baldwin Scholarship for academic excellence. McKenna earned a Master of Science in physician assistant studies from South University in Savannah, Georgia, where she received the Academic Achievement Award for outstanding overall academic performance during her PA training.
Prior to completing her certification as a physician assistant, McKenna served as a certified nursing assistant at Summit Urgent Care in Marietta, Georgia. Her training includes certifications in both basic and advanced cardiovascular life support.
