Allison is a graduate of the College of Coastal Georgia in Brunswick, where she received a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She holds a Master of Science in nursing from the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at South University in Savannah.

Prior to joining The Center for Digestive and Liver Health, Allison served as a charge nurse/nurse leader and a staff nurse II/team leader at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. While there, she received the Daisy Award for extraordinary compassion and the High-Five Team Member Award for performing above and beyond regular job duties.

Allison is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). She joined The Center for Digestive and Liver Health in 2018.
