Alison Moe is a graduate of the State University of New York at Stony Brook where she received a B.A. in physical anthropology and served as a committee chairperson on the National Collegiate Emergency Medical Services Foundation. In addition, she holds a master’s degree in medical education through the Physician Assistant program at Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey. While at Seton Hall, Alison received honorable mention for her clinical research thesis on Irritable Bowel Syndrome at the School of Health and Medical Sciences’ 17th Annual Research Colloquium.

Alison previously worked as a physician assistant in New York before moving to Atlanta in 2008, where she served as both an office manager and manager of clinical research for Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates (AGA). In 2010, Alison joined AGA’s administrative team as EMR Project Manager and was responsible for coordinating and implementing the practice-wide electronic medical records system.

Alison is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She also holds certifications in basic life support and advanced cardiac life support and is fluent in Spanish.

Alison joined Atlanta Gastroenterology Associates as a physician assistant in 2012.
