Mark D. Edge, MD

Dr. Edge, a National Merit Scholar and recipient of the Cambridge Scholarship, is a graduate of Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee. He also holds a master's degree in organic chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology, where he was awarded a Department of Energy Research Fellowship. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He received his medical degree from Emory University and completed his internship, residency and a fellowship in gastroenterology there as well. Dr. Edge previously served as a research associate at the Atlanta VA Hospital and as a data abstractor at the AIDS Research Consortium of Atlanta. He is a member of the American College of Gastroenterology and joined the practice in 2004.
