Dr. Aragon is an honors graduate of the University of Florida in Gainesville, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in zoology. After receiving his medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, Dr. Aragon completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at George Washington University Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
He previously served as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine for the Mercer University School of Medicine at the Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. During that appointment, Dr. Aragon served as Clinical Department Chair of Internal Medicine Internal Medicine Memorial University Medical Center from 2018 to 2020. Currently, he is the medical director for The Center for Digestive and Liver Health, serves on the United Digestive Quality Improvement Committee, and is a board member of Georgia Gastroenterologic and Endoscopic Society.
